Labor

Did you ever feel as though you are spinning your wheels?  Do you ever feel unappreciated as though your labors were to none effect?  This morning our Granddaughter has gone into the hospital to give birth to our Great Granddaughter.  While that labor has a wonderful outcome, that is not always the case with our other labors in life.  There is only one labor we perform that is never in vain – surrendering to Jesus and letting Him work through us.  He is always glorified.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”  1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)
