Living

When you think about living, what comes to mind? Is it your next vacation, what you will do this weekend or what big purchase you will make next?  Sometimes we are so forward focused, we are not enjoying the now.  Even if we are enjoying the now, who or what are we living for?  Do you think of others in terms of what they can do for you or do you think of others in terms of what you can do to help them?  When Christ was here on the earth, He lived a life so that others could see the Father in Him.  Paul tells us that we should not live unto ourselves; but for Christ.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” 2 Corinthians 14-15 (KJV)

Today, live so that others can see Jesus in you.
