Love

Have you ever told God you love Him?  John asked how we can love God and hate our brothers and sisters in Christ.  Incidentally, that includes all brothers and sisters in Christ regardless of race.  We are to love like Jesus loves without measure.  We simply look at our fellow Christians with eyes of Love and consider that Christ died for all.  He didn’t just die for you and me; but for the whole world.  Love covers a multitude of sins and transgressions.  Love is the most powerful force in the universe; because GOD IS LOVE.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John wrote, “If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen. And this command (charge, order, injunction) we have from Him: that he who loves God shall love his brother [believer] also.” 1 John 4:20-21 (AMPC)

Today, look upon your fellow Christian with eyes of Love and then look upon the unsaved with eyes of Love.
