Love for God

The Psalmist as an act of his will said, “I will love thee, O Lord. . .”  I wonder how many of us have said as an act of our will that WE WILL Love the Lord?  The Psalmist went  further to declare the attributes of God that encouraged him – God is his rock – a strong foundation on which he can stand.  God is the only foundation on which we can depend and stand during the trials of this life and provides us hope for the future.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit,  the Psalmist wrote, “I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” Psalm 18:1-2

Today, as an act of your will declare your Love for God.  Tell Him you love Him.
