Maintain
We maintain those things that are important to us – house, car, relationships, jobs etc. Some of those things have routine preventive maintenance scheduled. What are you trying to prevent – damage, decay, and perhaps destruction. What about your relationship with the Lord? Did you know you have the responsibility to maintain your life with God? How do we do that? Jude has some instructions as to the way to maintain your life with God.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Jude wrote, “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” Jude 1:20-21 (NKJV)
Today, spend some time with God, reflecting on and exercising the faith He has instilled in you, and pray in the Holy Spirit.
