Morning Thoughts – A Mess

A Mess

Yesterday, while trimming hedges, I realized I was making a mess.
Oftentimes, when we are cleaning things up, we make a mess before
the desired end result. Well, when we entered into a relationship with
Jesus, our lives were a mess and sometimes we get discouraged because
we don’t think the mess is getting better. Let me encourage you, Jesus
is pruning and cleaning out the old dead stuff and in the end, you will
be beautiful; because He is not finished with you yet.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “I thank my God upon every
remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request
for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day
until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun
a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
Philippians 1:3-6 (NKJV)

Today, don’t look at the mess, just turn to Jesus and give thanks for
the mess.
