Abiding Love

Abiding Love

What does it mean to have abiding love? To abide is to continue in a place.
Because we were placed into Christ, we are to continue in Him – letting His
word work in and through us. Since God is Love, we are to abide in His Love
as He abides in us. Love is not easy sometimes just look at the cross. Jesus
suffered, died and arose from the grave to demonstrate His love for us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John wrote, “We have come to know [by personal
observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith]
the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love
abides in God, and God abides continually in him. 1 John 4:16 (AMP)

Today, abide in God’s Love and demonstrate your love for your brother.
