Morning Thoughts – Choices

Choices

Everyday we make choices about the clothes we wear, food we eat,
cars we drive, friends we keep and on it goes. If someone knocked on
your door or worse yet beat it down and told you to renounce your faith
and worship their god or die, what choice would you make? Decisions
about what you will do need to be made before the situation arises.

Joshua made such a choice – “But if serving the Lord seems undesirable
to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether
the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the
Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household,
we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 (NIV)

Today, determine who you will serve.
