Morning Thoughts – Comforting

Comforting

At this time of year, many suffer from depression, due to a loss of
loved one. Perhaps, this is your first Christmas without your, Mom,
Dad, Sister, Brother, Grandma, Grandpa, Son, Daughter, Husband or
Wife. Be comforted, you are not alone. God is with you – think about
it – the God of the universe, creator of all things is with you. Once you
have asked Jesus to be your Savior, He promised to never leave you
or forsake you. The very name of Jesus – Emmanuel means God is
with us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew wrote, “Behold, the virgin shall
become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name
Emmanuel—which, when translated, means, God with us.”

Today, be comforted by His Presence.
