Deceived

Does a deceived person know they are deceived? No they don’t; because
if they did they would not be deceived. How do we discern what is true?
The answer is clear. God’s word is truth. We have to examine each and
every action, thought, word and deed against the truth of God’s word.
Each day we have to ask ourselves am I walking in truth – not what I think;
but what God’s word says.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Timothy records, “Yea, and all that will live godly
in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax
worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:12,13 (KJV)

Today, examine your own life to determine the presence of any deception.
