Morning Thoughts – Diligent

Diligent

What does it mean to be diligent? One definition for diligent is
“constant in effort to accomplish something; attentive and persistent
in doing anything:” What are you diligent about? Are you rewarded
for your diligence? Well the good news is you can be rewarded by
God for diligently seeking Him. So, to receive this reward you must
first believe God exists and that He will reward you in your constant
efforts to seek Him.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the writer of Hebrews wrote, “But without
faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever
would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and
that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him
[out].” Hebrews 11:6 (AMP)

Today, seek God earnestly and diligently.
