Distress

Distress

Are you in distress? Do you worry about anything? How is that going
for you? Distress is defined as “extreme anxiety, sorrow, or pain.” From
time to time, the enemy of our souls attempts to keep us in a state of
distress. He is a liar and the truth is not in him. It’s time to turn to the
truth and know beyond a doubt that our God is able. Able to take care of
you no matter what the days, weeks and months have in store.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “I called upon the Lord in
distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. The Lord is
on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?” Psalm 118:5-6 (KJV)

Today, call upon the Lord and watch Him work in your life. It is a marvelous
thing.
