Morning Thoughts – Father

Father

A father might by biological or he could be one who adopted you.
Did you know that an adopted child can never be disowned? The
inheritance of an adopted child is more secure than a natural child.
The same is true for those of us who have been adopted into the
family of God. When we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we
became sons and daughters of God and a Joint Heir with Jesus. That
means we inherit everything God has for Jesus.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For [the Spirit which] you
have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more
in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the
Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)!
Father!.” Romans 8:15 (AMP)

Today, take a deep breath and breathe the freedom of sonship. Cry
out to your Father, who loves you.
