Give Thanks
As we all sit around the table and eat until we are miserable,
we count our blessings. All to often we think of blessings as
material things. The single most important blessing for the
Christian is having been chosen for salvation.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “But we are bound to
give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord,
because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation
through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the
glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 (KJV)
Today, give thanks because God chose you to salvation through
sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
