Morning Thoughts – Knowledge

Knowledge

From where do you receive knowledge? In the past knowledge came
from parents and books; however, today we sit in front of the TV,
computer, I-Pod, and/or cell phone to receive knowledge. The internet
is often the only source of knowledge people get; yet, how do we verify
the truth of that internet information. There is much misinformation
being shared as truth; resulting in a lack of knowledge. A sure source of
truth is God’s word.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Hosea prophesied, “My people are destroyed
for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected
knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing
you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.”
Hosea 4:6 (AMP)

Today, set aside and turn off the devices and get into the book and increase
your knowledge so that you do not perish.
