Morning Thoughts – Love
Love
Today is a day we give Valentines to the Love of our life; however,
love is so much more than a card. Love is an action word and is the
most powerful force in the universe. How I know that – simple really.
God’s word tells us – GOD IS LOVE. Love comes from God – He loves
us so much He gave His only begotten Son – Jesus to demonstrate His
love. God cares about you more than you will ever comprehend.
You are not alone.
Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one
another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this
all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:34-35 (NKJV)
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Husbands, love your wives, just
as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, . . .So husbands
ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife
loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and
cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. Ephesians 5:25, 28,29 (NKJV)
Today, love like Jesus loves – sacrificially and cherish those you love.
