Morning Thoughts – Not Ashamed

Not Ashamed

Have you ever been ashamed? To be ashamed is to be “reluctant
to do something through fear of embarrassment or humiliation.”
Have you ever been fearful or embarrassed to share Jesus with
someone? It happens. We tend to be concerned about what people
will think of us. Romans 13:11,12 tells us – “And that, knowing the time,
that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation
nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand:
let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the
armour of light.” (KJV)

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For I am not ashamed of this
Good News about Christ. It is God’s powerful method of bringing all
who believe it to heaven. This message was preached first to the Jews
alone, but now everyone is invited to come to God in this same way.”
Romans 1:16 TLB

Today, don’t be ashamed/reluctant to share Jesus with someone.
