Morning Thoughts – Overcome

Overcome

Revelation 12:11 (KJV) records, “And they overcame him by the
blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they
loved not their lives unto the death.” So how does this work,
you might ask? Let me encourage you. Overcoming is when you
don’t succumb to the ways of the world; but, put your trust in
Jesus because He has already overcome the world. We can’t do
this life without Him. We overcome through our faith and trust
in Him, because He has overcome the world.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded Jesus’s words when He
said, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have
peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer,
I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NKJV)

Today, no matter what you are facing, trust God to help you.
