Morning Thoughts – Perfected Love
Perfected Love
How often do we use the word “perfect?” Perfect job, shoes, car,
or various other things. Occasionally someone will say they are
looking for a perfect person. Did you know that love can be perfected?
Although love is an intangible, it can be seen in actions, heard in spoken
words, and felt in the touch. God’s word says love is perfected in us and
when we love others, God abides in us.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John wrote, “Beloved, if God loved us so
[very much], we also ought to love one another. No man has at any time
[yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains)
in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion
(to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us!”
1 John 4:11-12 AMP
Today, let God’s love be perfected in you.
