Morning Thoughts – Power Delivered

Power Delivered

Our power was out all day yesterday from midnight until around noon.
The power company had some outages after the storm and were not
able to deliver power to a number of homes and businesses. Life is
certainly different without power. The tendency was to reach for the
light switch automatically. When we received Jesus as Savior and Lord,
he delivered power to us. Are you using His power?

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John wrote, “But to as many as did receive
and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to
become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to,
trust in, and rely on) His name—” John 1:12 (AMP)

Today, if you have trusted in and relied on His name, you have power – use it.
