Morning Thoughts – Praise

Praise

We praise people for a job well done. We praise our children for
various things. Did you ever think about the people who encountered
Jesus? First the angels praised God and said peace on earth good
will toward men. The shepherds praised God for the things they were
heard and saw. Then Simeon, an old man who had received a promise
that he would not die until he had seen the Messiah, praised God for
his promised Messiah. The natural impulse is to praise God when we
encounter Jesus.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Luke recorded, “Simeon took him in his arms
and praised God, saying: “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you
may now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your
salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: a light
for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.”
Luke 2:28-32 (NIV)

Today, Praise God with a heart full of joy for the Love He demonstrated
in Jesus.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
Remember God Loves You and I Do Too.
