Morning Thoughts – Pray

Pray

Yesterday a request for prayer came from missionaries in
harms way. Their town had been over run by ISIS forces.
ISIS was beheading children of believers. They are not only
grieving the loss of their children, who would not renounce
their faith in Christ; but they live with hunger and thirst as
well as constant persecution. The request was to bathe them
in prayer. Unlike a shower, a bath covers you with water.
Please cover them with prayer.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, James wrote, “Therefore, confess
your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and
pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored.
The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer)
can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective
by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].”
James 5:16 (AMP)

Today, fervently pray for those who are being persecuted.
