Reconciliation

When you have a disagreement with family or friends, do you think
about reconciliation and what that would look like? When Adam
and Eve sinned, the whole world became estranged from God. His
whole purpose in creating mankind was so we could have fellowship
with Him; however, we became separated from Him because of sin.
He then planned to reconcile mankind to Himself. In Christ we have
that reconciliation. It doesn’t stop there. We are representatives of
Jesus and are His representatives to a lost and dying world, that needs
to be reconciled to God.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “that is, that God was in Christ
reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them
[but canceling them]. And He has committed to us the message of
reconciliation [that is, restoration to favor with God]. So we are ambassadors
for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s
representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 5:19-20 (AMP)

Today, be reconciled and fulfill His ministry of reconciliation.
