Reward for Overcoming

Part 2

One of our chickens died yesterday from the heat. It seems she got
herself trapped behind the air conditioning unit. Even though we
had a barrier up to keep them away from that part of the unit. None
the less, she still got trapped by her own doing and died. The admonition
of Jesus to the Church at Sardis in the book of Revelation was that He
knew their works but they were dead. Just as our chicken was alive for
a while behind the A/C unit, she was ultimately dead.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded Jesus’s words, “He that
overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not
blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name
before my Father, and before his angels.” Revelation 3:5 (KJV)

Today, awaken out of your sleep, hold fast to the truth and repent for
the day of the Lord is near.
