Reward for Overcoming
When Jesus walked the earth He warned us of false teachers and to
beware of false doctrine. In Revelation, the church at Thyatira had
allowed false teachings to come into the church and were on their
way to sin. How about you are listening to false teaching? If it feels
good do it? Whatever you are doing that does not line up with the
Word of God is not from God. Yet you can receive a reward for
overcoming.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded Jesus when he said, “And
he who overcomes (is victorious) and who obeys My commands to
the [very] end [doing the works that please Me], I will give him
authority and power over the nations; And he shall rule them with a
sceptre (rod) of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, and
[his power over them shall be] like that which I Myself have received
from My Father; And I will give him the Morning Star.”
Revelation 2:26-28 (AMP)
Today, awake to righteousness, get into Gods Word and return to Him.
