Morning Thoughts – Sanctify

Sanctify

What does it mean to be sanctified? You know we have a lot of words
(Christian-ese) we use that I’m not always sure we always know what
they mean. Sanctify is probably one of them. Webster defines sanctify
as “to set apart to a sacred purpose or to religious use : (consecrate):
to free from sin : (purify).” We have been set apart for a sacred purpose.
We are not our own; but we belong to our God for His purpose

John (inspired by the Holy Spirit) wrote “Sanctify them [purify, consecrate,
separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is
Truth.” John 17:17 (AMP)

Today, because you have been set apart, let God fulfill His purpose in you –
His purpose will fill you with love, joy, hope, and peace (just to name a few).

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
Remember God Loves You and I Do Too.
