Morning Thoughts – Teaching and Directing

Teaching and Directing

School has just started and teachers everywhere have an
awesome privilege and responsibility to teach and direct
children so that when they are grown, they are intelligent
adults. This type of teaching and directing does not absolve
parents and grandparents of the responsibility to teach and
direct their children at home. Isaiah said, The Lord teaches
and directs us in the way we should go. The thing about the
Lord is he never stops teaching and directing; because of His
great LOVE for us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Isaiah wrote, “This is what the
Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am
the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you,
who directs you in the way you should go.”
Isaiah 48:17 (NIV)

Today, be teachable and let the Lord teach and direct you
in the way you should go.
