Morning Thoughts – Thirsty

Thirsty

Have you ever been really thirsty? When really thirsty, we may
drink sugary drinks; but nothing really satisfies our thirst like water.
Jesus told the woman at the well that He is the living water. He is
the water that satisfies a thirsty soul. Nothing satisfies like Jesus.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “[The Thirsting Soul
Satisfied in God. ] [ A Psalm of David; when he was in the wilderness
of Judah.] O God, You are my God; with deepest longing I will seek
You; My soul [my life, my very self] thirsts for You, my flesh longs
and sighs for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water.”
Psalm 63:1 (AMP)

Today, satisfy your thirsty soul with the living water.
