One Task

One Task

Throughout life we face days where the tasks before us seem insurmountable. Currently our brothers and sisters in the Gulf Coast Region of Texas are in this situation.  They are overwhelmed and our one task is to come along side them so they know they are loved and supported.  During that process, that one task includes making disciples of those weary folks.  It is during these times, Jesus is with us and gives hope and encouragement through the many who come to help.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew recorded Jesus when He said,”And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV)

Today, as you go to help others, make disciples.  Jesus is with you always.

Jesus is coming soon – for all, believers and non-believers alike.  It is the reception each will receive that will make the difference for all eternity.  What will be your reception?
