Persecuted

Without a doubt, Christian persecution is being witnessed on a much larger scale all around us than in times past.  So what are we to do?  I think Judge Kavanaugh’s ten year old daughter had the right idea – we are to pray for our persecutors.  No one really wants to be persecuted; but, the Bible speaks about end time persecution.  Jesus said we are blessed when men revile and persecute us and great is our reward in heaven.  Many have been persecuted before and many will be persecuted again.  When we are persecuted we are to put on the whole armour of God and Stand our ground.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew recorded, Jesus when he said, “You are blessed when they insult and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of Me. Be glad and rejoice, because your reward is great in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.  Matthew 5:11-12 (HCSB)

Today, trust God, stand your ground and let God do battle for you.
