Power and Refuge
When faced with a situation over which you have no control, what do you do? Do you stand your ground and fight or do you run? We all have that fight or flight instinct; nevertheless, we wonder if we have the power to fight or should we run to a refuge. The good news is that God will fight for us and be our refuge. He will meet our needs regardless of where we are or what our situations might be.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble.” Psalm 59:16 (NKJV)
Today, regardless of your situation, take it to the Lord in Prayer and let Him be your power to overcome and your refuge during your trouble. He is able!!!!
