Preserved

This is the time of year when we start to preserve items from the garden – like various vegetables and fruits from the garden. The garden produce belongs to us because we have planted, watered and tended our gardens therefore, we preserve the fruit of our labors. When we belong to Jesus, our God preserves us and keeps us from evil.  We are in His hands and are preserved now and for all eternity.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist recorded, “The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” Psalm 121:7-8 (KJV)

Today, give thanks for your preservation and pray for those who are yet to be preserved from evil.
