Provision

Do you know God does not require anything of us he has not provided?  As an example, the world in which we live has everything we need for survival and to thrive. When Adam and Eve broke their fellowship with God, he provided a blood sacrifice and animal skin clothing to cover their sin and their bodies.  As a result of their sin, we needed a sacrifice to restore that relationship with God; therefore, Jesus came to redeem us from that eternal sinful state. When the children of Israel were in the desert for 40 years, God fed, clothed and protected them. So, what about us? What does God require of us? Paul said we should be holy.  How do we do that?  Once again, God has provided holiness for us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:13-16 (KJV)

Today, if you are a child of God, trust Him to provide for you.  If you are not a child of God, ask Jesus to forgive you and save you from you sins.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.

Remember God Loves you and I do too.
