Sing

The Psalmist said “A merry heard does good like a medicine.”  I contend that a merry heart also helps in other situations of life.  So, how does one have a merry heart when deep in despair or experiencing troubles.  Again, the Psalmist has some encouraging words to help give us that merry heart.  It’s simple really – sing.  Sing of God’s mercy and love.  When we sing songs of hope and mercy, our spirits are lifted because we focus on God and not our circumstances.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble.” Psalm 59:16 (KJV)

Today, be confident, trust in, rely on, and cling to Jesus and He will see you through this life and welcome you into the next.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.

Remember God Loves you and I Do Too.
