Speaking

My mother told me God gave me two ears and one mouth for a reason.  She
said I should listen twice as much as I speak.  Now that was good advice;
however, I’m not sure I have always done that.  Life is a teacher that affords
us the opportunity to make mistakes; but thanks to God, we have forgiveness
when we mess up.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, James recorded, “Wherefore, my beloved brethren,
let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:”  James 1:19 (KJV)

Today, speak less and listen more.  God wants to speak to you.
