Stand

To be able to stand requires us to believe we have the strength to stand. Then it requires us to move forward with a mindset that says, “I can stand.”  When we physically stand, we do that in our own power; but, when we spiritually stand we do it in the power of the Lord.  Paul encourages us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. We have to believe we can stand in the power of His might and then take a stand.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10-11  (KJV)
