Struggles

People everywhere struggle with various things. We see struggles on our streets, in government, in homes and families.  Let’s face it, life is a struggle sometimes.  What was God thinking when He allowed struggles into our lives?  Just for a moment consider what life would be like with no tears, death, sorrow, crying or pain. There is coming a time when life will be like that.  It is when God makes all things new at the end of the age. (Revelation 21:4)  But what do we do in the interim when life is a struggle? It’s simple really, turn to Jesus and receive His peace.  Does that mean we will have no struggles?  Absolutely not!  It means that in Him we can have peace during the struggles of life that will ultimately turn around for our good. (Romans 8:28).

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded Jesus when He said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. ” John 14:27 (KJV)

Today, in your struggles turn to Jesus.  He will give you peace.
