The Comforter

During times of trial and trouble, where do you go? To whom do you call upon to help you when you are experiencing difficulties? When Jesus was here on this earth, he comforted all those who came to Him whether it was for healing or forgiveness.  Knowing His  time was short upon this earth, Jesus out of His great Love for people, said, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;” (John 14:16) That word Comforter refers to the Holy Spirit, who abides with Christians forever.  When you are alone and don’t know where to turn, let the Comforter, who was sent by Jesus, give you peace during your time of trouble.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded Jesus when He said, Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.. John 16:7 (KJV)

Today, seek the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, to help you with your trials and troubles. He came to comfort you during your time of need.

Remember God Loves you and I Do Too.
