The Cross (Part 5)

The Cross (Part 5)

When you think of the cross of Christ, remember his suffering was a choice he made because of His great loves for everyone.  His cross bridged the gap between God and mankind offering the opportunity to receive Christ’s finished work on the cross to everyone to have a new beginning.  What about our cross?   Our Cross offers the opportunity to grow closer to the Lord and be encouraged of His Love.  Jesus said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 KJV)

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Mark wrote, “And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Mark 8:34 (KJV)

Today, be an over comer in the finished work of Christ on the cross.
