The Little Things

Are you thankful for cars, boats, houses, clothes, or other material things? Perhaps, it is time to be thankful for the little things. Have you ever looked at a rose and seen the intricacies of the pedals, leaves and thorns?  Life is like that, sometimes we experience the sweet fragrance of the rose and contrasting green leaves and then sometimes we experience the prick of the thorns.  When we think about it, the rose, leaves and yes, the thorns make up the totality of the beauty. When we experience the fragrance and the prick of the thorns Jesus is right there with us and He cares so very much for us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit Paul recorded, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (KJV)

Today, be thankful for the little things and comforted that Jesus will never leave you. He is working everything out for your good.  If you have never received Jesus as the Lord and Savior of your life, ask Him to come into your heart, forgive you of your sins and you will receive His new life.
