The Return (Part 2)

The Return is a global movement calling all Christians to Prayer and Repentance. This global day of prayer and repentance is set for September 26, 2020.

What is repentance?  Eerdmans Bible Dictionary includes this definition of repentance: “In its fullest sense it is a term for a complete change of orientation involving a judgment upon the past and a deliberate redirection for the future.”

Are you in need of repentance?  Are you headed in the right direction or has the World and it’s pleasures crept into your life little by little until there is little room for God and His will for your life?  Unfortunately, most of us have allowed the things of this world to creep into our lives and have kept us from our first love, Jesus.

Are you ready for a complete change of direction and ready to judge your past with a deliberate redirection for your future?  God is always ready to receive us and help us get back on track. You can begin again right now.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Peter wrote, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 (KJV) and

John wrote, “I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” Revelation 2:2-5 (KJV)

Today, seek God with the purpose of repentance.  If you have never received Jesus as the Lord and Savior of your life, ask Him to come into your heart, forgive you of your sins and receive His new life.

Remember God Loves you and I Do Too.
