The Return

The Return is a global movement calling all Christians to Prayer and Repentance. This global day of prayer and repentance is set for September 26, 2020.  We often quote 2 Chronicles 7:14 to encourage Christians to repent so our land will be healed; however, we fail to look at the preceding verse, which speaks specifically about a pestilence among God’s people.  While we have experienced a “pandemic/pestilence,” which signifies that our land needs healing, we fail to realize it is spiritual healing we need most of all.  Our land is wrought with division on all levels – spiritual, financial, political, and racial – just to name a few. Johnathan Cahn has spearheaded this global initiative of prayer, repentance, return and revival.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, 2 Chronicles records, “¹³If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

¹⁴ If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 13-14 (KJV)

Today, seek God with the purpose of repentance.  If you have never received Jesus as the Lord and Savior of your life, ask Him to come into your heart, forgive you of your sins and receive His new life.
