The Shepherd

A few of the attributes of a shepherd include, leading, providing and protecting.  In our lives, our Shepherd leads us through difficulties and the good times.  He provides for our every need and protects us from the enemy of our souls not only now; but, for all eternity.  When you think of all the many ways our Shepherd has lead, provided and protected you, doesn’t it make you want to praise Him for His faithfulness?

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John wrote, “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.  As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. John 10:14-15 (KJV)
