The Thief

Sad to see; but, thieves are so much more active during this time of year when we celebrate the birth of our Savior.  However, there is a thief who is the enemy of our souls.  Jesus said he comes only to steal, kill and destroy us.  If this enemy can move us from a place of faith to believe Christ for all He has provided to us as written in His word, then he thwarts the plan God has for us.  Don’t let that happen.  Jesus came  to give us abundant life that overflows.  Is your life overflowing:  If not, seek the Lord and let Him help you.  Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (KJV)

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded Jesus when He said, “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it [b]overflows).”  John 10:10 (AMPC)
