The Voice

I realize there is a television show with that name; however, I want to talk about the voice you are listening to each day as you go about your life.  Do you hear negative thoughts that tend to bring you down?  Sometimes the enemy of our souls will attempt to disrupt the thoughts Jesus would have us to know about how much He loves us and wants to help us experience abundant life. Remember what Jesus said about the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy and stop listening to the enemy of our souls.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded, “Jesus told this simple story, but they had no idea what he was talking about. So he tried again. “I’ll be explicit, then. I am the Gate for the sheep. All those others are up to no good—sheep stealers, every one of them. But the sheep didn’t listen to them. I am the Gate. Anyone who goes through me will be cared for—will freely go in and out, and find pasture. A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.” John 10:6-10 (MSG)

Today, listen for the voice of Jesus – that still small voice that will lead you to abundant life – better than you have ever dreamed of.
