The Way

While on your way to your job or shopping or any destination, do you adjust your route based upon the traffic or just your desire for a more scenic route?  Often when I do that, my way is even longer than if I had held to the original course.  Job said the Lord knows the way we take.  When the Lord tested him, he held fast and did not turn aside.  The Lord wants us to hold fast to the way He has prepared for us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Job records, “But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.  My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside.” Job 23:10-11 (NKJV)
