Thoughts

What kind of thoughts do you think every day?  Thoughts of good or thoughts of evil?  I once heard someone say that we should treat our thoughts like birds that fly over our head.  We simply do not let the birds build their nests on our heads.  Neither do we let evil thoughts stay in our minds. While we may have many different thoughts, God has only good thoughts about us.  Did you know He thinks about you?  He does and because He loves us, he has thoughts of peace and not of evil about us.  He wants only what is good for us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Jeremiah recorded, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13 (KJV)

Today, be encouraged by the knowledge that God is thinking about you and wants good for you.
