Trials and Tribulations
All too often we see things happen for which we are unable to understand. Yesterday people went to church to worship God and were killed. The media and many of us can’t seem to wrap our heads around the senselessness of such an act of evil. It is only when we seek the comfort of our God that we can even begin to understand. You see in this world, we know the enemy of our souls wants us all dead; but, this world is not the end for Christians. Jesus has overcome this world.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded Jesus when He said, “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NAS)
Today, be of good courage, Jesus has overcome this world and all of its pain and hurt. Trust Him. May our loving Lord comfort all who are experiencing trials and tribulations and the pain and hurt!!!
