Value
The value of a body based around just the chemical elements is about $160.00. When I was in school, I seem to remember a science teacher telling us that the chemical make up of our bodies were worth about $2.00. Just look at what inflation has done. Increased our value significantly; however, God has always placed a high value on us. He placed such value on us that He gave His Son’s life just to have a relationship with us.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Luke recorded, “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And [yet] not one of them is forgotten or uncared for in the presence of God. But [even] the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be struck with fear or seized with alarm; you are of greater worth than many [flocks] of sparrows.” Luke 12:6-7 (AMPC)
Today, remember how valuable you are to the Lord and give Him thanks for His gift of eternal life in Christ.
