Visit

Visit

This time of the year lends itself to those moments when family and friends visit one another and share the joy of the season.  What makes this time of the year more joyous?  The joy of the season is Jesus.  It is a time when we remember His visit to the earth as a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.  That event changed the whole world; because, His purpose in visiting us was to redeem us all and restore the relationship mankind had with God, before it was lost in the Garden of Eden.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Luke wrote, “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began.”  Luke 1:68-70 (KJV)

Today, reflect upon His visit and give thanks for His faithfulness.

Blessed and Be a Blessing

Jesus is coming soon – for all, believers and non-believers alike.  It is the reception each will receive that will make the difference for all eternity.  What will be your reception?
